Trips by Rail ñ Stay at our Bunk and Breakfast and you are at the closest place to meet the train. After loading gear and canoes, you will travel to any one of the prearranged drop off points. As the early morning sun is burning the mist off the lake, you can wave good bye to the train thatís headed to Vancouver, leaving you in the serenity which only the north can provide. If traveling by train to our base is what fancies you, we will meet you at the train station and get you ready for your trip into Wabakimi. Trips by Plane - If time is not on your side and you wish to paddle some of the more remote areas of Wabakimi, then accessing The Park by floatplane is a great option. We can arrange for a floatplane to drop you off at any one of the numerous lakes in the park. Then, you could paddle out for pick up by train or plane. ImagineÖ flying into the heart of the park and landing on a lake that that looks too small to land on, unloading all your gear, paddling a short distance and then watching as your plane disappears over the horizon.
